Sounds great. Panic is not helpful. But what EXACTLY are you doing to keep people safe? Do you know who is coming into NJ illegally from foreign countries? The purpose of Ellis Island was to be sure immigrants did not have contagious diseases. Oh, but we are a Sanctuary State.
The state is monitoring the health of people who have returned from countries with coronavirus cases. So far they have not shown symptoms. What we are NOT going to do is use panic over coronavirus to target immigrants. Do not spread unfounded rumors or insinuations on my thread

The Solano County, California woman in serious condition with Coronavirus has no history of travel or contact that can be identified. If you are working to help doctors get the tests we need to identify patients quickly, now THAT would help. It’s a tough problem.
