  As a tax payer and a tutor I just want to say there are too many charter schools that are utterly failing students and their families. I've seen it first hand. Materials are crap and not age appropriate. Teachers are not educated and prepared to teach.

  When parents finally gave up, after wasting 4 years of a child's educational life in charter school, placed in public school the kid thrived and got up to grade level in a couple years. Don't waste my tax $ on charter schools.
