A recent study by the Congressional Research Service found that the Trump Tax Cuts had almost no effect on the avg worker wages, hasn't contributed to an increase in investment, and haven't come close to paying for themselves...

in fact "much of these funds, the data indicate, has been used for a record-breaking amount of stock buybacks, with $1 trillion announced by the end of 2018" Buybacks are a great way of enriching executives and stockholders even when a company is struggling.
