Why isn’t this considered a kitchen table issue for every family? Men with wives who contribute to the family income should have a vested interest in righting this. So should fathers of daughters, brothers of sisters or any man who loves a woman. This is not just a woman’s issue.
Today is #EqualPayDay. To earn as much as a man did in 2018, a woman would need to work from Jan 1, 2018 until this day. For Black women Equal Pay Day isn't until August 22. For Native and Latina women it doesn't come until the Fall. This violates the basic principal of fairness.
