#AskRepBonnie I’m worried about the lack of protection for historical black burial grounds. There are no protections from developers who want to build on slave burial grounds. From Texas to Hopewell And Little Rocky Hill in NJ. What are you doing to protect our ancestors graves?

Please do. There is Supposed to be one in Lawrenceville near the school. It would be nice if this black history, these 18th and 19th century graves, was protected and not erased from history and our landscape. In L’ville the graves were where the AME Church once stood

You can focus specifically on a bill to protect dead black people but not on a
#Reparations bill to protect LIVING black#ADOS people?pic.twitter.com/w3puz2c32s -
Of course this issue matters....but priorities.
