The criminalization of marijuana has done real damage among people of color in this country. In drug use and addiction, we have frequently and mistakenly used the criminal justice system with Black and Brown people, while seeking treatment, and leniency for White users.

Stop blaming pot arrests for the incarceration of people of color. Kids are dropping out of school at earlier ages. They join gangs, hang out on streets and commit crimes to survive. Do nothing but smoke dope and worse. Do something about this. Politicians are the problem.cop out
