Please do something about digitizing NJ manumission records and children born to slave moms. The discourse over slavery in NJ and conflict with revolutionary ideals right after war is just fascinating. NJ needs to preserve revolutionary black history period

For example why don’t we all know that a black slave aided in tending to General Mercer at the battle of Princeton. Why is this shaded over and forgotten. Or Sylvia DuBois of Sourland Mtn. father was at the battle of Princeton. Please tell our history
