Is that part of the $12 billion bailout Schumer requested for NYC's transportation fiasco? I'm still waiting for someone to explain why the other states should pay for the incompetence of Cuomo and Blasio.
Virtually all rail traffic from northern cities like Portland, Boston, Hartford and New York to all cities south of the Hudson: Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC travel through the crumbling tunnels we have now. It is a glaring vulnerability that needs to be addressed.

It’s been dangerous for years, moreso after Sandy. That still doesn’t explain why we need so many politicians stumbling around down there when we could be sending engineers who actually understand the art and science replacing these tunnels. Can any of you ever miss a photo opp?
