Holy shit. I thought @RepBillFlores ‘ impending retirement might free him up to become a statesman we so desperately need right now. A quick look at his recent Twitter activitie shows he’s running in the opposite direction and is in full on Trump mode. Silly me.

I think I’ve figured it out. He’s angling for a cabinet position in the event of a 2nd Trump term and figures that taking on a Jr. High bully/Jim Jordan (but I repeat myself) persona is the best way to get noticed by his Orange Daddy.

It’s just bizarre. Representative, there are many names people can call you, I’m sure, but “petulant” and “childish” are not the first ones to come to mind. Or at least, not until I scrolled through your tweets tonight.

This behavior honestly looks like a social experiment or something. Is Ashton Kutcher going to pop out of my closet to tell me I’ve been punked?

Here’s the experiment: Give wealthy, white, Boomer men enough power, and see how long it takes them to realize that they aren’t bound to the norms of decorum and decency they expect of everyone else. The verdict: Not very long.
