Mr. President—now that you’ve agreed with Republicans to take Medicare & Social Security off the table, do you believe the national debt is an issue? Do you believe there’s wasteful spending in Washington? Do you believe we should live within our means like every American family?

Now that we've resolved that Medicare and Social Security are off the table (as @SpeakerMcCarthy and Republicans have repeatedly said), let's act responsibly by reducing the hundreds of billions in wasteful Washington spending and stave off a future debt crisis.

Why did you vote to create the greatest increase in the deficit any single year or any presidential term ever by profligate spending and irresponsible tax cuts? You have no credibility on this issue, nor do any of your fellow Republicans who did this. Democratic leaders fixed it.

American families living within their means is a joke. No one is even getting ahead. Most depend on credit for everything. You don't even know the meaning of 'living within their means' rich boy from Plainview, TX.
This house member obviously does not know the difference between a currency issuer and a currency user. Or, he is being disingenuous as to gas-light. Hint: Look at his stance on military spending and the nature of "the budget".
