Okay then.......The creators of the 2nd amendment, of course, did NOT mean to include protecting ones self with AK/47’s. When a Democrat president leads our country one day, (sooner than later)he’ll need to change that by ‘executive’ order.

I was thinking the same thing. Two can play at that game. They shouldn't break rules that they wouldn't want us to break, when Democrats are back in power. But, hey, if they do ... they can kiss the 2nd Amendment goodbye. It's only fair.pic.twitter.com/xBqjoiSrjw

This makes sense only if you understand people here as the children of slaves as being eligible only because their parents were “brought here legally.” Cmon just a teeny tiny bit of history would do you a world of good.
-
There there. It’s up to interpretation now. Then
#TrumpThinksHeIsGod can start interpreting all the constitution.
-
Can someone just hand Trump a Denny’s menu & scribble “Constitution” at the top? He’ll never know the difference.

The 14th Amendment never imagined anchor babies, but it did imagine not extending citizenship to children born here of diplomats who are in the US legally. There is no logical case then for unlawful visitors or tourists to give birth to a US citizen simply by virtue of location.

gm mg....what do you think will happen when the invaders reach the border???
-
With any luck fire hoses will knock them backwards and off the fence.

my biggest fear is that we have already lost r country because too many of r populace are uninformed and hate r own country....we sure don't need to let anymore in who don't share our love of country and are just looking for free stuff and conquest....we are ripe for the picking!
-
I hear what you're saying, but happily do not agree. I think our country is experiencing the beginning of a Renaissance! With it, a few growing pains is all. We have been asleep. We are waking up from a long slumber. Don't let
#FakeNews into your thinking. Believe what YOU see.

Could one even enter the United States illegally when the 14th Amendment was ratified?
-
No. The 14th Amendment was ratified in 1868, seven years before the Page Act (first federal law that regulated entry). These early immigration laws were specifically used against Chinese, not Hispanics—so if we’re really concerned with original intent, well...

So, only muskets should be allowed according to the 2A original intent then too.
