Reform is hard. Reform is necessary. We can't let politics send us back to business as usual and today's hearing gives me hope we won't let that happen. The pain the country is going through is real, and we need to act.

We are truly in a civil rights moment, and while there's anger and division left from partisan pasts, now must be a moment for thoughtful substantive reform. No division is safe from the power of unified action.
