It is unfortunate that it took @SpeakerPelosi and @SenSchumer 16 days of political grandstanding to replenish the PPP. A program that is literally keeping businesses alive and protecting workers during this pandemic.

We just passed the $484B needed to restart the Paycheck Protection Program and support healthcare workers. And I'm proud we finally came together to deliver for the American people. Hopefully this can provide some semblance of security to people as they stare down the unknown.

Republicans spent weeks before the funds dried up asking that we put aside our differences to tackle this together. As a unified Congress. For those back home. But no. We had to wait 16 days because Democrats put political leverage over people's livelihoods. This needs to stop.

it also wouldn't have needed "replenished" so quickly if there was any kind of oversight & places like shake shack didn't get the money before REAL small businesses could. But yeah, blame Democrats
