The "failure of responsibility" lies with Trump, our elected leader and not WHO. WHO is only as strong as its member countries. If America fails to lead WHO other countries will lead it. We need the stable leadership

Who is already underfunded. How insanely foolish to defund the first line of defense in the middle of a pandemic. This, of all times, is not one to follow Trump’s lead. WHO declared a public health emergency 1/30.

I’ve been following this nervously since 1/25 when my Chinese friend wrote about it. It was an unbelievable two months watching the US do nothing. Responding a WEEK earlier would have avoided 90% of deaths. Stop deflecting blame and let’s get to work.
