Respectfully, Congressman, if you like a Republican in the White House abd a Republican Senate majority, you’ll advise your friend to drop this absurd vanity exercise.
I’ve heard that argument before. From Republicans in the 2016 Presidential Primary. From the GOP in 2010 House races. I like primaries for open and appointed seats. I think they are good for the party. Also, I’ll lay odds on the GA seat staying R whether it’s Loeffler or Collins.

There’s no primary here, it’s a jungle where it’ll be incumbent Senator Loeffler against a Democrat, and now Rep. Collins in a 3-way race in a state where Dems can spend a lot of money. This is not like any of the circumstances you mentioned.
