Yesterday was the anniversary of the 9/11/2012 attacks on the US Consulate in Benghazi. We must never forget the patriots that gave their lives in defense of their fellow Americans: • J. Christopher Stevens • Sean Smith, • Glen Doherty • Tyrone Woods
This week, I cosponsored a bipartisan bill (H.R. 587) to posthumously award the Congressional Gold Medal to these four brave Americans. They served their country honorably, and this is a small symbol our country's profound appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
