How about we start by respecting the human rights of our own citizens? Otherwise--this is hypocritical.
Thirty years ago today, protesters supporting Democracy in #TiananmenSquare and elsewhere in China were attacked by their own government. The House passed a resolution today to remember the victims and to call on China to respect the human rights of all people.

Such resolution is Not enough. Many of those resolutions passed in the past 30 years, yet Communist China became more intolerant and a bigger threat to Liberal democracy. American should learn from the history: what can they do differently in the future.
