In 2012, the people of Missouri's 2nd Congressional District sent me to Congress, and I promised them that I would find a way for families to keep more of their hard-earned money.

In November, during a tele-townhall, you called the national debt immoral. What changed? Every economist agrees this will balloon the deficit. Even using dynamic scoring. Bipartisan tax experts. What changed? Your family got a huge tax cut. That's what changed.
-
Speaking of experts, did you and your fellow Republicans hear from any experts? Hold any hearings? Consider any amendments from the Democrats? How many townhalls have you held to hear from constituents?

The people of Mo 2nd sent you to Congress because they believed your lies. I can’t wait to help expose them and get rid of you. This tax bill gives more money to your wealthy donors off the hard work of your constituents. Thanks yet again for nothing.

Everything I’ve seen shows we do indeed keep more of our money. Everything I’ve see also shows a ballooning deficit and that the very wealthy and corporations get to keep waaay more of our money.

Corporations may actually add a few jobs with the additional profit, but the vast majority will line the pockets of CEOs, investors, lobbyists, and political donors.

You just voted to raise my family's taxes. My bracket is going up. We can no longer deduct Missouri income tax, local taxes. Our property taxes are more than $10K. I will see you in 2018, Ann.
