Democrats have continued to stop us from voting on my Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, legislation that would mandate lifesaving medical care for babies who survive abortions. We have tried to bring this critical legislation to the House Floor for a vote 80 times...

It appears that this bill would complicate parents difficult decision to make "do not resuscitate" plans for children with extreme deformities such as anencephaly. That is not the role of government.

This is nothing more than grandstanding and wasting time. These laws already exist. How about if you use this time to meet with your constituents, who have been asking you for a town hall for years- to no avail.
