Protecting people w/ pre-existing conditions is a top priority of mine in Congress. I was pleased to join my friend Rep Rodney Davis in supporting his amendment to protect people w/ preexisting conditions, but unfortunately Democrats continued to play politics w/ health care.
They rejected this commonsense amendment that would have prevented funds from being used to limit access to coverage for those w/ pre-existing conditions. I will continue to fight to protect people who have pre-existing conditions & am committed to lowering our healthcare costs.

Oh Ann, stop whining. Those of us who rely on the ACA remember your gleeful cries when you thought you had eliminated our health-care coverage. If you really care about this issue then you will stop pointing fingers to blame others and start working toward a positive solution.

You forgot to explain how your “common sense” amendment you are touting here would only take effect if the ACA is repealed. The American people are AGAINST that. So you are for protecting preexisting conditions, but only after millions lose access to healthcare? I’m confused...
How many times did you vote to repeal ACA and it’s superior pre-existing conditions provisions? Your version where folks with pre-existing conditions pay a lot more is currently illegal under the ACA. ACA is what we need to keep.
