You know what else babies need? Wellness checks. Mothers with access to mental health care. But that requires health insurance which you have systematically taken a pick-ax to whether through cuts to CHIP or undercutting the ACA.

Shouldn’t Congress also reunite families that have been ripped apart & treated cruelly by the trump administration? Shouldn’t Congress also support families by making sure their communities are safe by passing common sense gun legislation in an effort to end gun violence?
As much as I appreciate the idea of paid parental leave I can’t support this plan. Social Security?! This is a lazy plan and in the end it will still screw the women or men who choose to use it.
I applaud the sentiment - but how does this square with your support for an administration that rips babies away from their parents at the border? With your support for denying kids with pre-existing conditions health insurance? Or handing over funding for school to billionaires?
