The tragedy in Srebrenica was the worst since WWII & it was preventable. With my bill, the Elie Wiesel Genocide & Atrocities Prevention Act, the U.S. will step up atrocity prevention & response efforts, giving assistance to at-risk countries & helping those most vulnerable.
Yes, Ann. This is how immigration should work. If it happened today, they would be turned away and murdered. Think about what’s going in our country today and show some grit to stand up for what’s right.
There are refugees fleeing atrocities right now! We should help them. We can have strong borders and serve those who are desperate. If that’s not who we are, it’s who we should be.
