Why is this important? Because we're about to vote to spend $3.8 billion to address the opioid addiction epidemic, and we need to ensure that funding is going towards programs proven to save lives.

According to the CDC, more than 70,000 Americans died in 2017 due to drug overdoses. Reducing that number should be an absolute priority of this Congress. I'm proud to lead this fight together with
