Andy - Govt contractors are out too and when this is over they won’t receive back pay. They work just as hard and work side by side with civil servants. Help end this travesty. There is legislation making its way thru Congress to include contractors. Pls support it. Thanks.
Tomorrow, fed workers, incl many in NJ, will miss their paychecks for the 1st time since the shutdown. The pain & hardship is unnecessary, unacceptable & affects many of those protecting our country & our borders. Thanks, ML. At least I'm in a situation that I can get by for a while, unlike many. Of course, even if back pay is granted to fed employees it won't help me, so it DOES hurt!

As a federal contractor and constituent currently forced to consume all of my paid time off before going without pay (that I won't get paid back) please don't forget we contractors who are affected! Thanks for your support.
