The House of Representatives passed a freestanding 5-year reauthorization of CHIP on November 3, which all seven of Maryland’s Congressional Democrats opposed, and it is now dying in the Senate because of liberal obstruction. Hopefully the Senate will reauthorize CHIP this time.

They voted to protect DACA -stop playing word games. For a full year Republicans control WH, House and Senate. Chip should have NEVER expired and that’s 100% on Republicans

There was a bipartisan deal that covered CHIP, the DREAMers, kept the Govt open, etc., but YOUR President and party screwed that up. Now it’s last minute and you are trying to pass crap. Dems rightfully refuse.

Really? That's what you're going with doc? Nothing about the democrats wanting to insure that CHIP is solidified for at least 10 years? We come from different medical perspectives but it sure sounds by your tweet that you're caring more about political games than about patients.

Republicans have the majority in house and senate. Stop blaming and start working on an actual fix. Our country isn’t just one thing. We aren’t “red” OR “blue, we are a complicated mix that can’t be defined by a single party solution.
