In the first seven months of 2017, U.S. Border Patrol saw a 46% decrease in illegal border crossing attempts + apprehensions from last year.
I applaud Border Patrol and @DHSgov for their hard work in reducing illegal immigration, and I support increased funding for border security

Border crossings are down because the US is not a particularly attractive place to immigrants right now. More border patrol is not the cause
