Thank you Secretary DeVos for the important discussion about advancing school choice. It’s our responsibility in Congress to make sure students receive the high quality education they deserve...pic.twitter.com/Yek0NQ4rCR

How does expanding school choice going to help your constituents? Hint: it'd do the opposite- pull money from public systems & encourage segregation & lower general school quality. Improve existing public schools and there's no need for school choice!!!
Taking money from public schools, Andy. Nice. Please look at the “success” of the private schools supported by DeVos in MI. 70% are in the bottom half of school performance in that state. But that’s just data. We know you don’t believe in that, Andy.
When you create a competition-based model for school improvement you inherently assume that some schools will win & others will loose. You are basically saying its ok if some of our students end up in loosing schools. Why don't you try to improve all of our kids schools instead?
