Congress doesn’t have to wait for SCOTUS to restore our Constitutional role. If we pass the TABS Act (which I’ll be introducing later this week) the CFPB will be subjected to the appropriations process like almost every other agency.

The scoundrels @FHFA are a 100 times worse. They get their funding from the corporations they regulate. They put @FannieMae & @FreddieMac in a fraudulent "temporary" conservatorship 14 years ago and then swindled $301 billion of their equity.

“Almost”? If your argument is that a federal agency is unconstitutional if it’s not subject to the appropriations process, then why doesn’t your bill subject ALL agency’s funding to congress instead of “almost every” agency? Would you rather only your preferred agencies covered?
