Well, in ur home state, we now have schl districts, parents & sheriff’s offices at contentious odds, as a result of the sloppy legislation passed after Parkland. It’s a mess. Also, we have the horrible “Stand...Ground” law & incomplete background 
. So...?
Nearly 40,000 Americans died last year as a result of gun violence. That’s not a pattern – that’s an epidemic. Congress has to step up & pass #HR8 so we can get some commonsense, bipartisan solutions in place. #NeverAgain

HR8 is anything but commonsense, and the way the markup was handled was definitely NOT bipartisan. This bill will do nothing to stop crime. It is another burden Democrats wish to place on law abiding gun owners. Vote no on this bill. I am your constituent.

Sure, background checks make sense, but this has too much nonsense it. Why not just keep it simple! HR8 makes it nearly impossible for even responsible gun owners to follow the law. A bureaucratic nightmare, and unfair to people with lower incomes who can’t afford the fees.
