You clearly don’t understand ALL the reasons for the 2A if you think ALL the reasons still apply today. No more militias being called up to defend the frontier. No more escaped slave patrols. Read some history. And how about offering solutions to gun violence???

It's way way more then that. When you start banning guns by their looks or because a criminal used it, you are subverting the 2nd amendment. By charging fees for a RIGHT is subverting the 2nd amendment. This is what tyranny looks like.

How about driver liscense? Seat belt laws? Pilot liscense? Board certified medical professionals. How is regulations that provide a little more safety for the general population any different. No body is saying take away all guns. But its negligent to do nothing!!!
