Does it bother you that he ran on an explicit promise that he WOULD release his tax returns that -- like Mexico would pay and most other promises -- he simply ignores now?

Respectfully, the "dangerous precedent" is permitting the leader of the free world to potentially withhold from the public a financial incentive to act against the best interests of the United States in favor of personal self-interests. Your position is flawed.

Well, no. Trump's tax returns, and those of his company, would demonstrate his honesty to the American people about his foreign entanglements as well as his claims of wealth. The American people deserve to know our President isn't beholding to foreign powers.

The only explanation for you not wanting Trump to release his tax form. Trump told you to oppose this legislation. Period. Get a spine congressman. If this were a Democrat president your view would be different

Ok, what if he repeatedly promised to release them "once the audit was finished"? What if an audit is actually not a reason for someone to not release their tax returns?
