Harassment of any kind cannot be tolerated in the work place. I require annual sexual harassment training in my office & with passage of H.Res. 630 on 11.28.2017 all Members of Congress, employees & interns are required to complete anti-harassment & anti-discrimination training.
I was a proud cosponsor of this resolution. Here in Washington State, our local company @Microsoft led the way on addressing sexual harassment in the workplace, as the first Fortune 100 company to endorse S. 2203, the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Harassment Act of 2017.
As we work to create a better reporting process in Congress and hold national leaders in politics, media, and entertainment accountable, we must not forget that countless women across this country face harassment at work, at home, and at school.
