It is also unacceptable that the President has been relentless in hurling a barrage of insults at the Kurds over the course of the last two weeks - literally adding insult to injury. The Kurds have fought alongside us, and if nothing else, they deserve our gratitude and respect.

You mean we will use Kurds against Iran and then we can betrayal them again..
If the Kurds were smart, they wouldn't ally with us, setting themselves against their neighbors.
The only state which needs to be contained is the US. Just look at its track record.
We don't need to contain Iran. We need to end hostilities with them and apologize for fomenting the coup in1953 against their democratically-elected president. We need to end our alliance with Israel, rather than being their cat's paw.
Both need to end their human rights abuses.
