Trump’s proposed #PublicCharge rule posted this week is another senseless attack on immigrants & families & an attempt to sow fear throughout our communities to advance the administration’s bigoted agenda. It’s important to understand what this proposed rule does & does not mean.
Most importantly, there is no reason for members of the community to stop using or applying for benefits they are eligible for. Benefits used before the rule is finalized cannot count against applicants.
