Fifty-five years ago today, the #MarchonWashington took place. Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have a Dream” speech to our nation outlined a vision for equal rights and opportunities for every American.

Communities of color in our country still face threats to their right to affordable health care, an equitable education, access to the ballot box and equal justice under the law. As your Congressman, I will continue to work to ensure all individuals’ civil rights are upheld.
