As Ranking Member of @HASCDemocrats, I joined Senate Armed Services Committee Ranking Member Reed in sending a letter to Secretary Mattis requesting assurances that Members of Congress will be able to conduct necessary oversight over any DoD sites used to house migrant children.

I'll continue to do everything I can to stop this administration’s inhumane policy toward children & their families. It’s unconscionable that we are even in this position in the first place. We must hold the federal gov accountable for the care of children within their custody.
