The University of Washington and the greater Seattle community will deeply miss Hubert Locke. Throughout his life, he devoted himself to public policy research to better understand the criminal justice system.

Hubert served as the Dean of the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy & Governance. Hubert also served as board member for various organizations such as Common Cause, the Bullitt Foundation and the Institute of European Studies.
