    The Trump Administration separated kids from the parents, and more than 500 still haven’t been reunited in violation of a court order. Now the Administration plans to violate another court order to keep kids locked up indefinitely. These are not our values. We will fight this.

    Trump again threatens to use state power to censor the press. With his “enemy of the people” rhetoric and efforts to punish the Amazon/Washington Post, this is the most serious assault on the 1st Amendment since Nixon. GOP response: Silence. Apparently, only 2nd Amendment matters

    Bad enough that the President’s lawyer, who purports to speak for the Administration, urged Romania to undermine its own anti-corruption efforts — repudiating the position of our own State Department’s stance. Worse still that he took money for it. Swamp overflowing again.

    Here is an issue that is crying out for congressional inquiry. Americans, overwhelmingly Latinos and including veterans, are having their citizenship questioned, and being denied passports. Outrageous and unacceptable. GOP response: Hear no evil, see no evil, do no oversight.

    They served in the army, the border patrol and the police. They have official US birth certificates. But the government is denying their passport applications and telling them they aren't American citizens.

    In a more respectful time, Mr. Vice President, there would be a Justice named Merrick Garland on the Supreme Court. But Garland never got so much as a hearing or even a courtesy visit from Senator McConnell.

    Trump owns a hotel across the street from the FBI HQ. He has a financial stake in plans to redevelop or relocate. He cared enough to meet with the GSA about it, and to prevent them from disclosing what he said to them. House Republican reaction: Move along, nothing to see here.
