CBO report: deficit to hit $1 trillion by 2020, 2 years ahead of schedule. We knew tax cuts for the wealthy would explode the deficit. And now they have. Still, Trump & Ryan argue for massive cuts to Medicare & Social Security, saying we don’t have the money. Not a chance.https://twitter.com/morningmoneyben/status/1039668158607581185 …

FYI, the deficit is about to break $1 trillion, two years ahead of schedule, per CBO. It's already close to $900 billion. Not too good. https://www.cbo.gov/system/files?file=2018-09/54442-MBR.pdf …

Deficit was dropping under Obama. Better question is why do Republicans suddenly not care about deficits?

Clearly you don't understand the difference between deficit and debt. Better educate yourself on that, before you spout any more bullshit.

Debt by the way creates the deficit. Clearly you have no idea about that, but prefer to attack. If we borrow money we have debt, if all we pay is the interest & never pay the debt we have a deficit. If we continue borrowing/spending we have created deficit spending.

Other way around. Defecit or surplus is the annual difference between spending and receipts. That's what creates the national debt or pays it back.

I used to wonder how they could be so incompetent, then it hit me 💡 they intentionally trash the economy because they're gambling they'll be able to profit by buying stuff cheap at the bankruptcy auctions.

During campaign, Trumps budget was expected to explode debt, while Hillarys budget was debt neutral. If fiscal conservativism was your issue, your vote would be BLUE.
