It’s galling. People like me have been paying into the system their whole lives. We are counting on both benefits in our twilight years.

I feel the same way. I've worked too long and hard to allow this to happen.

I’ll be 57 next month & I’ve been paying SS & Medicare tax since I was 14 years old. That’s 43 years of payments so far with probably another 10. I have earned my SS & Medicare—in spades.

Republicans need to stop with the idea of cutting SS and start paying back the $2.7trillion of marketable U.S. Treasury bonds that they stole from it. If they paid back what they stole SS would be in great shape for another 20years paying FULL benefits that they aren't paying now

This was Paul Ryan’s and the gop’s intentions from the get go.....

Paul baby is "retiring" at 50ish. He has some nerve talking about our earned SS as an entitlement...he's getting great benefits for retirement. And we are having to work 10-15 more years than he. These GOP fools dont even thank us for their big paydays. Sick.
-
And of course we wont hear 1 thank you from this grifter.
