Let’s stop advancing this narrative that student loan debt is for the privileged.
Do we really think a billionaire’s child is taking out student loans?
First-generation college students are twice as likely to report they are behind in making student loan payments.

Let’s stop these ridiculous articles that 'young people are killing diamond rings' and 'they're not buying houses' and 'they're killing this industry' or 'we're not having children.'
It's because we're being crushed by immoral debt.

No person should have to go into debt - crushing debt - in order to get an education. It’s wrong, it’s backwards, and it doesn’t help us as a country.
We have a moral obligation, an economic obligation, a political obligation to cancel student debt.

Please at least reform interest rate refinancing . Just let me refi into a govt program for 2% . It wouldn’t even be that hard to do

And until it's gone, drop the interest accruing like mad on it!

Logic.
I can't afford college-> get a job
I have a job -> get a better job
I don't have a degree -> go to college
I can't afford the tuition -> get a better job
Choose the right career you hate and be miserable.

I like that I am in 6 figures of debt before even stepping out of college, where house prices are crazy high, the economy is against you, and basically, all our tax dollars don't improve the life of your everyday citizen.... the USA is literally creating its own brain drain. lmao

It's because parents aren't telling kids what degrees are viable and which aren't. Spend $100k for a degree that has a median income of $30k/year, doesn't make sense.
