"If we hadn't applied pressure ourselves, we would not have been able to win the repairs. This goes to show we can’t rely on state agencies to defend our rights - the only way we can guarantee tenants’ voices are heard is through determined organizing!"

We can’t rely on the courts and laws to protect communities of color from disaster - we need to stand in solidarity with our neighbors and fight back against the system that values property over human lives. Don't miss tomorrow's organizing call:

Pre-COVID, 69% of Americans had less than $1K in savings, and 34% had no savings at all. Now, millions of renters are draining what little we've managed to set aside for emergencies, just to keep a roof over our heads another month. !

Gig workers are struggling to find jobs as more and more laid off workers have flocked to apps, while millions of renters are missing rent and facing eviction. No surprise that the latest in capitalist “innovation” involves pitting them against each other for profit.

Dear friends from across Europe and beyond. In Catalonia we have just passed a rental cap law that compares with existing regulations in other countries such as Germany, France, Denmark or the US. Do not hesitate to get in touch and help us spread the word.

Solomon's campaign was just the beginning. We’re a disruptive army of young people fighting to elect Progressives and bend the establishment to the will of the people. We're on our current politicians to act-- we need real Progressive policies now!

Houston is the guinea pig for the capitalists to find out 'how many lives can be ruined before we're faced with mass resistance?' So how do *we* show the landlords that workers and renters are the source of their profits, and we have the ultimate say?
