We share the concerns that this money grab could hurt our county finances and threaten our services to our most vulnerable citizens. We urge our state representatives to take a close look at the impact of intercepting $300 million of federal funds from local taxpayers will have.

Absolutely stunned. With NYS facing an affordability crisis, the Governor's plan to shift hundreds of millions in new Medicaid costs onto local taxpayers will only make matters worse. We spoke to @CapitolTonight about this devastating proposal. nystateofpolitics.com/state-of-polit

The Legislators installed the new dartboard, and the seniors wasted no time on trying it out. The Legislators did such a nice job that they were invited to stay for lunch with the seniors! Merry Christmas to all of our Rensselaer County Seniors! 3/3

After all, a good dartboard is necessary for their Friday dart league, so the Legislators delivered one on Friday. Vice Chair Bob Loveridge, and Legislators Daniel Casale and Tom Grant delivered the dartboard and other gifts to the very appreciative seniors. 2/3

Each year, members of the Legislature chip in their personal funds to buy gifts for our senior centers. This year, one of the requests came from the Schodack Senior Center, they asked for a new dartboard to replace their old and worn out one. 1/3

For over a year, we have expressed our strong opposition to lowering the mandatory overtime threshold for farmworkers in New York. Now, only after Governor Hochul approves it, some state legislators decide to speak against the move. We stand with NY Farmers!
