That...is irrelevant? The existence of laws proves my point, not poor interpretations of them. Also, free speech is not covered on private platforms, so none of this matters anyways. If YouTube wants to remove the existent of jones on their site, they can.

‘A true intellectual’. You’re a student. Majoring in the same field I have already qualified for. You’re the biggest greenhorn here.

1)I never claimed authority on those grounds 2) I was being sarcastic. The person literally just called me stupid, that’s it. That’s not contributing to anything, just pure ad hominem. Surely a “qualified individual” can detect subtext. At least your reply offered a counterpoint

I apologise. I was running on 2 hours’ sleep when I replied but now I’m fully awake I see the context I missed. Either way, though laws rightfully state that hate speech is illegal, the proverbial goalposts as to what constitutes as ‘illegal’ have too much freedom to move. —

— In the Dankula case, for example, not only did the police arrest him when no complaints were made against the video, the judges of the high court declared that ‘context was irrelevant’ and that his actions were ‘grossly offensive’ despite said context proving that —

— It was the other way around. As such, hate speech IS subjective. Out of all the social media sites that shut him down, only ONE got rid of him on grounds of hate speech, which means it isn’t a universal reason.
