On nights like these, you don’t want to be alone. We’ve known this since we first understood the ideas of light and darkness; some nights, you gather around the fire, you keep it lit, and you try not to think too hard about what might lie beyond your very small circle of safety

As the wind howls and your building creaks, can you be truly certain that you’ve eliminated ALL the shadows? Without knowing the fuel you’re burning yourself, who’s to say that your oh-so-bright lights will stay lit?
