If the kind of national polling we're seeing now were to hold, the tipping point for outlets to "call" the race for Biden on Election Night could actually be a blue Texas.
Don't get me wrong: we still don't see Biden as the favorite there. But if the national popular vote ends up in the >10% range for Biden, it would become probable - and TX is poised to count its votes a lot faster than the Upper Midwest.
I like what I’m hearing.
If TX flips blue, it’s over. Early night.
If Florida flips blue, it's over. It Pennsylvania flips blue, it's over. If Texas flips blue, it's over. The electoral maps that Trump wins are outnumbered substantially by those in which he loses.
