The anthem is not "for veterans". It's just one of many ways for a citizen to show their patriotism and I'd argue NFL players are being patriotic by drawing attention to the issue of police brutality in this country. They want to make the country better.

Isn't the NFL a sports league? What does that have to do with (military) veterans?

Can the snowflakes realize it's not about them? The players are being respectful, whether your feels think so or not.

Can you not realize the simple concept that it's not about the Veterans/Military?

History has always been kind to people who mock black people protesting injustice. But, you do you, Red State.

I thought they were kneeling as a sign of respect for vets and country as a whole and as a protest over mistreatment. Taking the knee is a sign of respect I thought, I make my children do it for me everyday, and do a loyalty pledge while chanting family moto.

If that's what you think, you have no idea why they kneel.
