Republicans control both the House and the Senate. And the White House. What does the shutdown have to do with them?

First of all, history and math are different things. This would be math. So the MATH shows me that many Republicans voted “no” and that several democrats voted “yes”. So once again, how is this Democrats fault professor?

But not all Republicans voted for the motion and not all Democrats voted against. So that math isn’t so simple.

Did you actually look at the vote totals or no? The notion failed with multiple Democrat “yay” votes. So, once again, seems like you’re blaming someone else for your own failures. Victim.

But all of the Republicans DID NOT vote “yay”, which makes it obvious to anyone without extreme bias that the Republicans have problems in their own shop. The party of personal responsibility my ass.

I get that you are incorrect. I’m waiting for you to realize it.

The statement that *even if* Republicans had all of their members vote in favor... But *if* doesn’t absolve Republicans for not voting for their own Bill or Democrats for voting for it. *IF* the arepublicans had 60 seats and all of them didn’t vote, you have the same problem.
