Colleges discriminate against actions you take while in high school. This is why we caution kids about the use of their social media accounts & also texting. This is nothing new or shocking

Intriguing defense of racial slurs by the "moderate" right today. Also, " They are also the texts of a child who thinks no one is listening." No. They are texts where sympathetic ears were listening in private. Not near enough serious reflection in this article's defense.

I’ve found the justification of “their private messages” interesting; as if that somehow absolves the behavior. If anything, it makes it more egregious. The “sympathetic audience” as you say.

He’s claiming he’s being judged on things he did when he was sixteen. Ummm, that’s exactly what college admissions looks at. Things you did when you were 16.
