Why can’t she just carry a straw with her? How is this so hard? And everywhere I’ve been in California with a straw ban offers paper straws. What’s the problem?

1. here's a chart that explains why any given alternative doesn't work for some people 2. why should disabled people have to turn any trip outside their home into a thing that requires planning and supplies? i don't see anyone else being asked to give up autonomy for the planet.pic.twitter.com/S5EkjYtIcP

Yes, not sure I’m on board w the plastic straw ban. On the other hand one option to consider for anyone w medically based needs is to spend a few dollars and get a stainless steel straw they can always have with them.

I am with her all the way (I need straws due to sensitive teeth), but IMO she hurts her cause by: 1)using the term "ablest" and 2) using foul language.

I just wish she would have named the restaurant so they could be properly boycotted.
